Steve, a native of Easton, Maryland, dedicates his time to assisting his clients with comprehensive wealth advice and planning. A graduate of Easton High School and 1991 Graduate of Hampden Sydney College, he holds a B.A. in History and Spanish. Prior to joining Baird in May 2009, Steve began his career in 1992 at Legg Mason in Baltimore, MD, first as an options trader and later as a Director of Retail Equity Trading, overseeing all trades for Legg Mason’s money managers. In 1996 Steve moved back to Easton to begin a career in wealth management for private clients. He is Series 4, 7, 63, and 65 registered and is licensed in life, health and long term care insurance. Steve currently serves on the Board of Directors of UM Shore Regional Health and as Treasurer for the St Johns Foundation. He has been a member of the Shore Regional Health Finance Committee since 2005 and serves on the Executive/Nominating Committee. He is a past Board Member of the Dave Haslup/Lou Gehrig ASF, United Fund of Talbot County, Pickering Creek Audubon Center, Talbot Country Club and past member of Easton Rotary Club. Steve has also been very active in local youth sports organizations as a past coach for Easton Little League and Talbot Pop Warner, as well as helping to raise funds for Easton High School and St Michaels High School's Support Our Sports organization. Steve lives in Easton and has two grown sons, Mason and Jake.
